President Faust’s Funeral

I watched the funeral of President Faust on BYU TV. I really appreciated the talks given by President Faust’s Son, Elder Holland, President Monson and President Hinkley. All of these men shared personal experiences that helped the world know what kind of person President James E. Faust was. All of them shared their knowledge of how his wife always came first and how special she was to him. President Faust was a great example to all of us of how sacred marriage is.

At the closing of the funeral the Mormon Tabernacle Choir sang “This Is The Christ” which was written by President James E. Faust and first publicly sung by him as well. President Faust sang this hymn at the BYU Jerusalem Center which is in the vicinity of the Garden of Gethsemane.
